Microsoft Teams provides world-class collaboration features that include chat messaging, presence, and real-time voice and video calling and meeting services. PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) integration is a key component of the calling and meetings workloads that are offered to our Microsoft Office customers in both first party (Wholesale/Consumer) and third-party (Direct Routing/Operator Connect/Teams Phone Mobile) delivery models via features such as Calling, Audio Conferencing, and Voice Applications in Microsoft Teams, Skype, and Azure Communication Services.

Our mission is to ensure excellent calling experiences for our customers. We monitor availability, reliability, quality, through operational excellence, and work with engineering teams to continuously improve the service. Our goal is to operate efficiently, eliminate and remedy customer impacting issues and enable the world's best voice experiences. Our customers consider Microsoft to be their communications service provider when entrusting critical voice workloads such as calling and conferencing to us, and they expect the same carrier grade reliability as they would from any telecom service provider. As we continue in our pursuit, we are looking for new leader to join us in the mission and lead to deliver impact in this area.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Principal Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating product plans, building and managing roadmaps, designing features, and delivering them to ensure excellent calling experience for our customers. This role is a mix of business analysis, product thinking, user-centric design, cross-team collaboration, and understanding external customer and partner engagement. It’s a high value role that’s both creative and technical with the opportunity to redefine how people work and collaborate.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand challenges and identify opportunities and user requirements for a set of scenarios.
- Define and plan technology requirements and solutions to resolve complex end-to-end business and engineering challenges.
- Holds accountability as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), mentoring engineers across products/solutions, working with on-call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
- Proactively seeks new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale and shares knowledge with other engineers.

**Qualifications**:
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience shipping features for developers and end-users.
- 4+ years of end-to-end experience across the entire product lifecycle, from product inception to ship.
- Expertise in one of the cloud platform areas, such as computing, network, and storage on Azure and/or competitive cloud technologies.
