The Opportunity

Our Process Safety & Services group is looking to add an Incident Management Lead to the Incident Management, Analytics & Reporting team, based in Calgary, AB, Houston, TX or Charleston, WV.

What you will do
- Establish and maintain the organizational incident investigation / management governance policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on the incident investigation framework, roles and responsibilities, and response protocols
- Analyze incident data and reports to identify trends, lessons learned, and opportunities for process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Safety, Security, Business Continuity) to integrate incident investigation practices into broader risk management and resilience strategies
- Stay up to date on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to incident management
- Represent the organization in external forums, industry associations, and regulatory engagements related to incident management
- Continuously review and update the incident management governance framework to ensure it remains effective and adaptable to changing business needs and evolving threats

Minimum Qualifications
- Post-Secondary degree in a related field
- 6 or more years of related experience
- Demonstrated experience with incident investigation / management governance policies, procedures, and protocols

Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering Degree and registered, or eligible to register, with APEGA as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in good-standing (Canadian Applicants)
- Proven experience developing and delivering training programs
- This position will involve travel and overnight stays away from home (estimated up to 20% of work schedule)
- Have current, valid authorization to travel internationally (including but not limited to Canada, US and Mexico)
- Successfully complete a Criminal background check (US Applicants)
