**Duties**:

- Communicate and Collaborate with supervisors and managers.
- Checking elevations and layout using GPS, levels & laser for earth and rock excavation, granular placement.
- Fine grading of granular surfaces for paving and concrete work.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Promote a safe working environment.

Lead Hand

**Skills**:

- 2-3 Years experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to handle a complex and varied workload, able to work under pressure and in a flexible manner.
- Strong knowledge of construction GPS units.
- Experience in fine grading of granular materials.
- Excellent understanding of quality control procedures in the construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Motivated, hardworking, and take pride in workmanship.

**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- construction: 2 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Ottawa, ON (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Ottawa, ON: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
