**MANAGER, BUSINESS OPERATIONS**

**FACULTY OF ARTS AND SCIENCES**

Reporting to the Vice Dean, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Manager, Business Operations ensures the financial and enrolment status and viability of the faculty, while serving as a liaison between the faculty and the support and service areas of the College, and managing the divisional business operations team to ensure operational needs of programs are met. The Manager oversees financial and business planning, budget administration, administrative support, business process development and implementation, business analysis and reporting, information management, and project and contract management.

- Lead divisional financial processes including enrollment and budgeting and ensure accountability for financial results that meet divisional and college business plans by providing
- Program cost analysis and scenario planning.
- Preparing, developing, and managing all aspects of divisional budget administration.
- Business process development, implementation, and oversight.
- Business analysis and reporting, including year-end activities.
- Information Management
- Management and oversight of primary and alternate funding goals enrolment goals and plans, and external relationships with contract funders.
- Working in collaboration with the faculty leadership team, manage the divisional Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) plans and processes including regular review, forecasting, and analysis of enrolment changes and statuses.
- Develop and oversee financial and enrolment mitigation and risk management strategies in collaboration with the leadership team.
- Maintain and manage casual instructional contracts, including extensions.
- Develop budget and enrolment planning scenarios for annual and long-term enrolment plans.
- Academic-term enrolment and budget planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Identify resourcing impacts of enrollment plans/forecasts, provide remedial recommendations, and oversee the implementation new program enrolment plans.
- Maintain tuition and program & supply fee renewals.
- Verify tuition, fee, and account validation for annual timetabling processes.
- Plan and manage grant allocation forecasting and actuals.
- Effectively lead a strong, cohesive, and collaborative Business Operations administrative team that provides service excellence to program areas in ways that promote program success.
- Provide leadership within the unity on the development and strategic direction for the management of change, recruitment, performance management, and retention of staff.
- Participate in business planning, setting operational goals and measures for staff.
- Lead the development of enrolment and financial plans for the division with a comprehensive analysis of trends and projections.

**What You Bring**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Commerce, or Management.
- 5+ years' related experience in a public organization, post-secondary environment, or financial services environment.
- Experience working with PeopleSoft and Power BI reporting is an asset.
- Management or supervisory experience is an asset.

**SALARY**:$87,095 - $108,899 Reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a full-time permanent position with immediate access to our great pension and benefit programs.
