About the Role

PCL Solar Constructors Canada Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Solar Analyst Student to join our team in Oakville, Ontario. As a key member of our Solar District, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by analyzing and interpreting performance data on solar projects, identifying trends, and implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and review SCADA data to analyze and interpret performance on solar projects
  • Report irregularities in data and monitor trends in project performance
  • Establish new systems and processes to improve analytics tools
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and SCADA suppliers to interpret technical documentation
  • Support estimating with preconstruction efforts, including design consultation and project planning
  • Assist with designing, reviewing, and validating solar facility layouts relative to RFP documents
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest innovations in the renewables market
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in various computer software programs, including AutoCAD, word processing, and spreadsheet applications (Excel)
