**JOB OVERVIEW**

CASE is currently searching for an LMS Platform and Content Coordinator. Working in alignment with the strategic direction mapped out by the Director of Learning and Development, this position is responsible for managing the overall health and performance of the CASE learning portal and content management systems, creating additional branches and course containers that are effectively integrated with existing and emerging systems, ensuring an engaging user experience (UX) and effective (UI), and the collection of accurate analytics.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Understand the existing portal architecture, learning content management systems, and evolving critical needs (as communicated by the Director of Learning and Development).
- Design the portal, branches, and course containers in accordance with existing accessibility legislation (WCAG 2.1) and CASE’s best practices.
- Maintain a high commitment to accessibility and an enhanced user experience.
- Work in collaboration with the Graphic/UX Designer and E-Learning Content Writer to ensure that course containers address key requirements.
- Suggest and implement system efficiencies and/or workflows, taking into consideration existing integration points, e.g., Woo Commerce, Data Warehouse, SharePoint, etc.
- Take initiative to problem solve, create workarounds, and identify new ideas/approaches.
- Support the maintenance of existing online content, create/clone/publish courses, ensure continuous quality improvement, and enhancements are integrated.
- Review current data management practices and contribute to the development of streamlined data collection and storage processes.
- Ensure the ongoing collection of accurate learner statistics.
- Complete learner enrollment (automated and manual processes depending on the offering) and provide technical assistance to learners.
- Generate requested reports to share with the Director monthly.
- Develop and maintain naming conventions for the product library and WP files.
- Work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing demands to ensure that learner enrollment and course/certificate program development occur in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate in an open, clear, and consistent manner with everyone.
- Other duties as assigned.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Demonstrated history of LMS/LCMS management including systems thinking; learner pathway, communications, analytics, enrollment, interplay with other platforms etc.
- Familiar with learning industry standards, g., WCAG 2.1, SCORM, xAPI, etc.
- Foundational coding abilities, technical skills for troubleshooting, set up, and integration.
- Experience creating and managing content libraries including organization, tagging, and documentation.
- Able to develop and implement processes for accessing content and uploading new content and localization frameworks into the LMS.
- Ability to stay current and contribute ideas in a rapidly changing and competitive e

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills - able to succinctly communicate complex topics.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Relevant degree, g., information systems, instructional design, and/or a combination of relevant diplomas, certificates, e.g., MCSE, CCNA, and work history.
- Demonstrated history of designing and managing content within learning management systems, along with implementing effective data management practices.
- Proven track record in diagnostic investigation and systems
- Working knowledge of UX and UI.
- Willing to learn more about the field of supported employment, accessibility, diversity, inclusion, and equity.

**HOURS OF WORK AND SALARY**
- This is a full-time (37.5 hours/week) position beginning March 18, 2024 (or earlier depending on availability) for the period of 18 months.
- There is the potential for contract renewal based on available funding.
- Rate of pay is $35/hour.
- $120 / month allowance for maintenance of a home office (phone and internet).
- The position also includes 3 weeks paid vacation/year, RRSP matching, and is eligible for benefits after 3 months.
