Shipping and Receiving Material Coordinator

**Shipping and Receiving Materials Coordinator - Monday to Friday**

**Responsibilities**:
Efficiently take orders of which materials are required at all times, along with the project, floor number and job number.

Create packing slips for the materials requested and give to the designated driver.

Collect and correctly organize signed packing slips from drivers.

Follow up with production on the previous night's materials & run counts on the materials to ensure the night shift cut according to packing slip requirements.

Coordinate with supervisors on the shipping of items and delegation on which truck they belong to.

Coordinate with supervisors to ensure department has adequate inventory of installation straps always.

**Qualifications**:

- Secondary school completion is required
- Shipping and receiving experience an asset
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is an asset
- Strong general computer skills are required
- Ability to work in a team environment is required
- Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Aluminum Window Wall and Door Manufacturing or other building materials experience an asset.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON L6W 4R2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
