Relevant du gestionnaire de site, vous aurez la responsabilité de coordonner, planifier et superviser les activités à la salle d'entraînement ainsi que les cours de groupe offerts par le YMCA Du Parc

Vous superviserez une équipe d'une trentaine d'employés (instructeurs et entraineurs). Le mandat sera de développer et d'implanter de nouveaux programmes répondant aux besoins et exigences de la clientèle locale. Vous devrez entretenir d’excellentes relations avec la clientèle et participer à l’organisation d’événements spéciaux pour les employés, les bénévoles et les abonnés du centre.

De plus, vous soutiendrez le développement continu de votre personnel en partageant vos connaissances et votre expertise dans le secteur de la santé et du bien-être. RESPONSABILITÉS
- Coordonner les opérations du secteur de la salle d'entraînement et des cours de groupe
- Recruter, former, superviser et coordonner l’équipe des employés, instructeurs et bénévoles des cours de groupe et de la salle d’entraînement
- Planifier l’horaire des entraînements et des cours de groupe en fonction des besoins des membres et du programme planifié de littéracie physique du YMCA
- Planifier, organiser, diriger et coordonner la programmation des cours de groupe en étroite collaboration avec le personnel et le gestionnaire de site
- Effectuer au besoin des tâches de première ligne telles que les programmes d’entraînement, l'évaluations de la condition physique et autres.
- Assurer l'entretien des installations pour maximiser la satisfaction et la sécurité des membres
- Offrir des réponses et des solutions opportunes aux questions, commentaires et suggestions des membres, des employés et des bénévoles.
- Créer et maintenir des liens positifs avec les usagers et employés du centre au moyen d’interactions de première ligne et de partenariats externes.
- Animer 2 à 3 cours de conditionnement physique par semaine et remplacer au besoin d’autres instructeurs
- Participer à la planification et la gestion du budget annuel.
- Participer à la mise en œuvre du calendrier d’éducation continue.
- Adhérer aux politiques et procédures du YMCA régissant la protection des enfants et des personnes vulnérables.

EXIGENCES
- Détenir un diplôme universitaire en kinésiologie, en science de l’exercice, en éducation physique, en récréologie, en intervention sportive ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Avoir une certification en conditionnement de groupe FIT du YMCA (de préférence) ou l’équivalent, ainsi qu’au moins trois (3) années d’expérience dans l’animation de cours de conditionnement physique de groupe et de prestation de programmes d'entraînement.
- Minimum de 2 années d’expérience en supervision du personnel et/ou dans un poste de direction
- Posséder de l’expérience en supervision du personnel (un atout).
- Être en mesure d'enseigner dans plus d'une spécialité (ex. tonus, yoga, cours de danse, cardio vélo, besoins spéciaux).
- Détenir une certification en RCR et en premiers soins (atout)
- Expérience avec les populations symptomatique (un atout)
- Posséder de l’expérience au niveau du service à la clientèle
- Avoir de l’expérience en service à la clientèle.
- Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais à l’oral et à l’écrit.
- N'avoir aucun empêchement judiciaire en lien avec l'emploi.
