St. Luke’s Anglican Church & Community Centre’s mission is to transform lives and build community. As the only community hub in Oakville we offer programs, resources, and support for people of all ages, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, faiths, sexual orientations, and gender identities.

St. Luke’s is implementing a digital transformation that will strengthen the internal capacity of our community service organization post pandemic. The new system will develop and implement new communications and marketing strategies to address our users’ needs. The tool will manage users and donor contacts across our diverse organization to enhance support and engagement. This digital transformation will strengthen and ensure our organizations’ processes are flexible and agile to quickly prepare for current and new conditions. We will modernize and adapt by implementing a contact management system that will invest in a new communication plan, a fundraising strategy, and a donor database that will support our mission and drive impact across our organization.

We are seeking a motivated and results driven junior fundraising professional for a one-year contract who will utilize and manage our new donor management solution, eTapestry Cloud Fundraising Software.

**Responsibilities**

eTapestry Management:

- Serve as the primary administrator for eTapestry, ensuring smooth operation, customization, and optimization of the platform.
- Maximize available eTapestry training and support resources to optimize the tool’s impact.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to maximize the functionality of eTapestry for fundraising, donor management, and reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records, gift entries, and contact information within the eTapestry system.

Fundraising Strategy and Execution:

- Create a pre-survey prior to the implementation of the new contact management system to measure the effectiveness of our existing communication strategies.
- Train St. Luke’s staff members as required.
- Implementation and onboarding of contact management system.
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising campaigns, leveraging eTapestry’s features and capabilities.
- Design and implement donor segmentation strategies to target specific donor groups for tailored fundraising appeals.
- Create and manage online fundraising initiatives, including crowdfunding campaigns and peer-to-peer fundraising events, using eTapestry’s integrated tools.
- Monitor fundraising progress, generate reports, and analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Leverage fundraising information and support provided by the Anglican Diocese of Niagara.

Donor Cultivation and Engagement:

- Utilize eTapestry’s communication tools to develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, ensuring regular and personalized engagement.
- Set strategic goals for retaining donors, brainstorm fundraising campaigns and begin implementing new processes.
- Design and implement donor stewardship programs, including acknowledgment letters, newsletters, and other donor communication materials.
- Coordinate and execute donor cultivation events and initiatives, utilizing eTapestry for event management, registration, and tracking.
- Review progress and initial goals to ensure organizational growth and targets.
- Create a post-survey of the new contact management system to measure the effectiveness of our data transformation.
- Experience in the fields of Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, and/or Communications.
- Experience working with eTapestry or similar fundraising and donor management software.
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles, donor engagement strategies, and campaign management.
- Ability to work well with a team and as an individual contributor.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Results-oriented with the ability to identify forward-thinking techniques to achieve goals.
- Ability to learn new technologies or strategies quickly.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector check.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $19.00 per hour
