**The Role**

As the Operations Coordinator at Method, you'll be part of a growing and high-performing team. Reporting to the Manager of HR, Finance and Operations, you will be accountable for the operations in our Toronto office. You will be focused on cultivating a positive in-person experience for our staff and guests - always looking for ways to improve our processes and foster an environment that caters to the needs of our team.
- Coordinate and oversee office operations, including facilities management, asset and supplies inventory, and maintenance requests.
- Establish and maintain supplier relationships for office supplies, food, catering, cleaners, repairs and couriers etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized office space, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all employees and visitors.
- Plan and execute company events, team-building activities, and celebrations. Including set-up and tear-down.
- Actively participate on the Social and Method:Gives Committees.
- Support the HR team by assisting with onboarding/offboarding processes, maintaining employee records and assets, and coordinating employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain Method’s financials using QuickBooks, including revenue and expense accruals and accounts payable.
- Assist with budgeting, projections and expense analysis.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient workflows.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reporting decks for internal distribution.
- Implement and maintain health and safety protocols in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Handle ad hoc administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.

**What you Bring**
- Post-secondary education in Business, similar field or equivalent training/experience.
- 1-3 years of office administration or coordination experience.
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Experience with event setup and/or coordination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills.
- Process driven and highly organized.
- Must be available to work in the office a minimum of three days a week.

Bonus points if you have experience with any of the following:

- Experience with data entry using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Familiarity with accounting principles is an asset.
- Prior experience in a high growth, fast paced environment where multi-tasking was required is an asset.

**In your first 30 days, you will**:

- Onboard and acclimate with the People Operations team.
- Learn and become an expert of our internal communication tools, norms, and practices.
- Complete Method’s Bootcamp.
- Shadow experienced team members to gain a deeper understanding of day-to-day operations and the responsibilities of the Operations Coordinator role.
- Familiarize yourself with our office management systems and processes.
- Start developing relationships with colleagues across departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Begin handling day-to-day administrative tasks and special projects assigned by the team.

**In your first 60 days, you will**:
