**About the job**:
Google's line of products and services to clients never stops growing. Strategic Partner Managers have the rare opportunity to build a long-lasting relationship with our top partners. You cultivate these existing partnerships to make sure they can take full advantage of Google's ever-growing suite of offerings. You possess strong relationship-building skills and are apt to see mutually beneficial opportunities with partners in order to best represent our users, products and programs.
The Devices and Services Partnerships team focuses on Google-branded hardware and services across product categories. Our team is responsible for managing partnerships with our top retailers, carriers, ISPs and distributors, including developing channel strategy, discussing commercial terms, marketing and merchandising, and overall market share goals. We partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product and Engineering, Finance, Channel Sales and Activation, and Retail Marketing teams internally and with our retail counterparts across these disciplines.
As a Distribution Partner Manager, you'll work collaboratively on the distribution strategy for Hardware and will work with a variety of stakeholders from Sales, Demand Planning, Marketing, Operations and Finance, to sell our products to our third-party partners. You will own the primary relationships with our Canadian Distribution partners servicing Retail and Carriers.
Google’s Global Partnerships team powers extraordinary user experiences through partnerships that solve users’ needs, advance our partners’ goals, and further Google’s mission. Our team provides meaningful solutions — from helping publishers and developers grow their businesses through monetization solutions, to helping our long-term partners anticipate and navigate change in a way that delivers economic and reputational value. We build and distribute products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Ads, Search & Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Health, Retail, Payments, Next Billion Users, and more. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive growth across Retail and Carrier distribution partners for Google Devices and Services.
- Partner with Retail Partner Managers, Marketing and StratOps to shape the overall strategic direction and execution of distribution in the Canada Market.
- Develop channel strategy, negotiate commercial terms, launch new products, to achieve market share and sales goals. Build relationships with distribution executives to understand and maximize success for both parties.
- Collaborate with Partner Account Managers, Planning, Strategy Operations, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams to develop and refine go-to-market strategy.
- Lead business critical operating processes and improvements. Proactively identify problems and issues across the organization and create programs and/or process to solve them
