ACT Learning Centre is a leading edge, dynamic, multidisciplinary practice in Ottawa and Kingston. We are a multidisciplinary team of Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Board Certified Behaviour Analysts, Communicative Disorders Assistants, Occupational Therapy Assistants, and Registered Behaviour Therapists providing exceptional services to children and youth with autism, or other developmental disorders/delays and their families.
ACT is one of local providers of the Caregiver Mediated Program under the Ontario Autism Program (the Play Project) and the only local provider of the Entry to School Program (a school readiness program funded under the Early Years Pillar of the Ontario Autism Program). We have a busy multidisciplinary practice with multiple locations throughout Ottawa and a growing private practice in Kingston.

**The Opportunity**
We are presently seeking a part time Speech Language Pathologist to work in our private practice at our Kingston clinic, as well as the Entry to School Program. The hours are flexible.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assess and treat pediatric clients with a range of communication difficulties and levels, including direct intervention and parent coaching.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive individualized programming.
- Adhere to the standards of practice regarding assessment protocols and therapeutic techniques.
- Participate in teaching and mentoring of students and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies.
- Maintain documentation (clinical and administrative) in accordance with organizational policies.
- Participate in ongoing professional education and development.
- Participate in all team meetings when required.

**Qualifications**:
- M.Sc. in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent.
- Membership (or eligibility for) with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A successful Vulnerable Sector screen.
- Exceptional communication skills both oral and written.
- Ability to work independently and co-operatively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- The ability to provide service in both English and French is preferred.
