**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Manager of Programs, Hill and Levene, the Administrative Support - Scheduling and Sessionals carries out various administrative functions in the main office of the Faculty of Business Administration.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Schedule undergraduate and graduate classes for the Faculty of Business Administration, maintain and update course schedules as required;
- Collect course outlines from all instructors for the Hill and Levene Schools of Business;
- Completes exam room booking;
- Maintains catalogue forms for new courses;
- Track and report on teaching loads;
- Provide the Dean and other senior Faculty staff with detailed statistical reports on admissions, enrollments, origin of students, and other determinants as requested;
- Act as the main point of contact for sessional instructors with the Faculty;
- Scan paper scantron sheets from course midterm and final exams and provide results to instructors;
- Act as back up for student exam accommodations and for textbook/case studies ordering;
- Coordinate classroom, boardroom and other space reservations;
- Coordinate faculty and sessional printing accounts;
- Coordinate deliveries of guest speaker gifts;
- Other duties as required.
Position Requirements
**Position Requirements**:
- Grade 12 with the successful completion of recognized business course(s), combined with a minimum of three years’ related experience. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered. Completion of some university classes is an asset;
- Demonstrated expertise in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook-GroupWise), particularly Excel. The position is responsible for creating and maintaining reports;
- Must have experience scheduling and timetabling courses in a higher education institution - experience using DCU is an asset;
- Analytical problem solving skills;
- Ability to organize multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail;
- Ability to deal effectively in a courteous, cooperative and confidential manner with students, staff and the public;
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing;
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions;
- Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials;
- Knowledge of the Hill and Levene School of Business programs and course offerings;
- Skill in the use of operating basic office equipment.
Physical Demands Pay Grade CUPE Phase 4 Salary Range $42,533.40 - $57,457.40 Annually Status Term Work Hours
Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m - 4:30 p.m. on campus.
