The Engineering Development team is a Hatch global practice providing Engineering quality and strategic development expertise to a wide variety of Hatch's commodity-based business practices. Our capability spans through the entire project lifecycle comprising; scoping, conceptual design, pre-feasibility, feasibility studies, detailed engineering, construction support and project management. The group supports all of Hatch’s sectors including energy, mining & mineral processing and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in developing engineering quality documentation
- Development and procedure writing
- Develop quality procedures, instructions, and forms to direct Engineering tasks
- Maintain/Update existing Procedures, instructions, and forms
- Assist projects with modification of quality documents to suit project specific requirements
- Knowledgeable in data-centric delivery and data quality checking and assurance

Qualifications and Experience:

- Degree or Diploma in Engineering/Engineering Technology.
- >10 yrs Experience in multi-discipline Process Plant Engineering and Design
- Strong English language technical writing skills
- Over 5 years experience in an ECP/EPCM engineering environment
- Experience in the maintenance of a Quality Management System
- Sound knowledge of data centric design systems in a multi-discipline environment
- Sound knowledge of engineering management and processes
- Experience in Bentley, SmartPlant SP3D or other data-centric design software is beneficial
- MS Word, MS Excel and Visio experience.
