The Manager, Health and Safety will create and maintain ROBINSON's health and safety programs. Responsible for managing the safety programs across different provinces (BC, AB, SK, MB & ON) and supporting our multiple brands (ROBINSON SUPPLY, Showrooms, and Support Office), this position is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and grow your health and safety career

**What you will do**:

- Be the safety expert, providing accurate and reliable health and safety advice and support to our people leaders
- Interpret various provincial legislation (BC, AB, SK, MB & ON) and ensure safety compliance throughout the company
- Identify and implement new or modified safety practices, including policies, procedures, & job hazard analysis, and training
- Track and analyze accident and injury data, providing regular reporting to senior leadership
- Maintain accurate safety training records and ensure employee training is kept up to date
- Identify and/or deliver safety training (WHMIS, fall protection, personal protection equipment, forklift training, CPR etc.)
- Lead injury and incident investigations, working with people leaders to review findings and develop hazard prevention & corrective action plans
- Work with senior leadership to conduct annual building health assessments and develop remediation plans

**About you**:

- 5+ years experience in developing and implementing health and safety programs, preferably across multiple provinces and locations
- Knowledge of various provincial health and safety requirements and standards
- Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation
- Ability to travel (approximately 20%)
- Have a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle to travel between locations
- Confident using Excel, including imputing and sorting data, entering formulas, completing VLOOKUP, developing Pivot Tables, etc.
- Experience in developing PowerPoint presentation including creating graphs, tables, and charts

ROBINSON values your experience and recognizes the contributions you make to the success of our business. Your starting pay will be based on the skills and experience you bring to the role. In BC, employees in this position can expect to earn $70,000 to $100,000 per year, with opportunities to earn more as you grow and develop with us. Your salary will be supplemented with monthly bonus opportunities, annual profit share, wellness days, RRSP program and a generous benefits package.
