**Parts Coordinator - Canadian Flatbeds**

**Full Job Description**
The Parts Coordinator is responsible for managing the inventory and distribution of parts within the company. This role ensures that all parts are accurately tracked, ordered, received, and distributed to maintain efficient operations. The Parts Coordinator works closely with the maintenance, service, safety and mechanics to ensure the timely availability of parts and materials.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all parts and materials. Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of parts in the warehouse
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder parts as needed to prevent shortages
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms
- Create and manage purchase orders for parts and supplies
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Process and document the receipt of parts and materials
- Communicate with the service shop and mechanics to understand parts requirements
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of parts
- Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and adjustments
- Report and discrepancies or issues to the management
**Requirements and Skills**
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in inventory management, parts coordination, or a related role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Familiarity with automative, industrial, or manufacturing parts
- Ability to lift and carry parts and materials up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
**Hours of Work**
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Occasional weekend availability
