**Full Job Description**

Canadian Flatbeds is one of the fastest growing transportation companies where we strive to meet the needs of our customers. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team. The Inventory Coordinator/Specialist will be responsible for overseeing inventory at our facility in Milton. This includes keeping track of existing and new inventory, running inventory reports, analyzing discrepancies in the inventory data, maintaining the inventory control database. The person in this role will work closely with the management team and the truck shop repair team, to ensure appropriate inventory levels and controls are in place to meet compliance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and data
- Creating daily/weekly reports on issuing orders and purchase orders. Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory reports and KPIs to the management team
- Responsible for regular audits, cycle count process, keeping track of returns and damaged parts
- Develop and implement procedures, systems, and best practices with regard to inventory management
- Regular correspondence with the Senior Management team and mechanics
- Analyze current stock levels to identify potential shortages or excesses. Determine appropriate replenishment action using historical and forecasted demand patterns
- Ensuring the work area and warehouse is free of safety hazards
- Implement a loss prevention strategy
- Entering data and parts into our internal system - DATA-DIS (MIR-RT)
- Performing other tasks as assigned by management

**Requirements and Skills**
- Previous inventory experience is essential
- Basic computer skills and use of Microsoft excel
- Forklift experience
- Ability to work independently without constant direct supervision or guidance
- Able to stand for extended periods and should be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Punctual and highly dependable
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Flexible to work six days and/or weekends
- Safety shoes are required

**Job Details**
- Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Job type: Permanent, full-time
- Salary: $58,000 to $67,500 (depending on years of experience)
