What Will You Work On?
The Vice President, Client Success & Partnerships is a critical member of the Senior Leadership Team, with accountability for achieving the strategic and financial objectives of partners while delivering on the financial targets for the AIR MILES Reward Program.
Within the context of the overall AIR MILES Strategy, this role leads the strategic direction for top tier partners across several verticals. Establishes and updates the vision and plan to drive innovative solutions through offering, products and services that align with the partner’s objectives. This role holds C-suite relationships through a strong ability to consult, advise, influence, partner and sell loyalty solutions.
Provides leadership, coaching and insight to their direct team by driving a data driven approach that leverages our analytical, reporting, AI and digital solutions. Encouraging new and innovative ways to work with Partner teams to drive commercial value by identifying leads and threats and build recommendations for partner teams to drive performance and address strategic business imperatives leveraging all available data.
Create and manage annual budget and allocation process to ensure sufficient financial, technical and analytical resourcing for campaigns.
How Will You Create Impact?
Strategic Thought Leadership
- In collaboration with the Client Success and Partnerships Senior Leadership Team, will develop and implement the overall AIR MILES Reward Program’s mutli-year strategic plan.
- Lead the negotiation of Partner contracts and renewals to ensure that key AIR MILES Reward Program metrics are held to deliver Partner and Consumer value.
- Anticipate and near-term and long-term risks and opportunities for the portfolio of the AIR MILES Reward Program
- Identify, develop and implement cross region/coalition opportunities and work with the internal stakeholders to identify, pursue and deliver upon business development opportunities in order to grow the business and multi-lane relationships with Sponsors.
Develop and Deliver Sponsor Revenues and Plans
- Develop and deliver on financial targets as defined by the Senior Vice President, Client Success and Partnerships and the President of the AIR MILES Reward Program.
- Development of annual strategic plan for Partners; lead quarterly forecasting and variance analysis process meetings, and track the financial implications of ongoing activities.
- Develop the strategic imperatives for Partner’s participation in the AIR MILES Reward Program, aligning Partner objectives with organizational objectives to create and enhance win-win scenarios
- Determine the optimal resource allocation for each Partner and corresponding campaigns
- Direct high level work efforts for the Client Leads and determine key deliverables for all direct reports, reviewing and providing input and revisions on key deliverables
Team Leadership
- Participate with the Client Success and Partnerships Senior Leadership Team on developing talent for both current roles, succession planning and for long-term growth and ensure ongoing engagement within the organization
- Coach and mentor direct and dotted line reports to develop high performing teams with appropriate competencies to meet future business needs.
- Overseeing Client Success and Partnerships teams with common approach and encouraging development of best practices

- Minimum of 5+ years of Supervisory/Management experience
