**How you might spend your days**:

- Developing functional assays for therapeutic antibody discovery across multiple target classes and therapeutic indications
- Optimizing and troubleshooting _in vitro_ complex functional assays using various mammalian cell lines and primary cells
- Designing, planning, and executing experiments, either independently or in collaboration with your teammates
- Analyzing and presenting data to colleagues and key stakeholders
- Training, mentoring and supervising members of a dynamic team
- Organizing, supporting and collaborating with other team members to meet project deliverables and timelines

**Required qualifications and experience**:

- Post-doc or PhD in relevant field, or MSc plus at least 5 years work experience in relevant field
- Strong background in identifying and designing _in vitro _cell-based assays for screen including assay development, miniaturization and establishment of workflows. This should include:

- Experience in various plate-based binding and functional assays using detection methods including fluorescence, luminescence, HTRF etc.
- Experience in medium
- to high
- throughput assay flows
- Experience of high-content screening systems and automation (optional, but desired)
- Ability to manage multiple distinct projects across a variety of teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment including training and mentoring
- Strong leadership skills
