London, Canada St. Joseph's Health Care London Full time

The role will provide intermediate level support to the payroll and benefit operations. First level escalations of issues will come to this role from the Pension and Benefit assistants and the Payroll Accounting Analyst. This role will lead some annual and recurring projects and also support larger projects to improve processes, implement new technology or upgrade our HR systems.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Graduate of a recognized college diploma program in a related field (i.e., human resources, business, etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge of benefit and payroll processes
- Demonstrated Advanced computer skills in Excel and intermediate level in MS Word
- Minimum three years of analytical experience within a large organization with strong knowledge of human resources, compensation and benefit practices
- Previous experience with HRIS and payroll systems (PeopleSoft preferred)
- Experience creating project plans and ensuring deadlines are met by themselves and others
- Comfortable and curious to take initiative and dig into problems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to think outside of the box and generate new ideas
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills in Excel and intermediate level in MS Word
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Performs with a high level of accuracy using discretion, integrity and confidentiality
- Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Proficiency in French would be an asset

**Immunization Requirements**
