Payroll Clerk

The Payroll Clerk, under the direction of the HR Manager, will manage full-cycle payroll processing for GNK Holdings company and its subsidiaries.
**Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Prepare, verify, and process all employee payroll-related payments.
- Maintain and update employee information, including records of attendance, leave, and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements.
- Prepare statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions.
- Complete, verify, and process forms and documentation for the administration of benefits such as leaves, employment, and medical insurance.
- Prepare payroll-related filings and supporting documentation, including year-end tax statements, Records of Employment, and other statements.
- Prepare payroll entries and conduct GL account reconciliations.
- Provide support to employees and past employees with any payroll or other queries.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, HR, Payroll, or related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of experience; 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
- Strong Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin preferred
