Material Manager

MOBIA is currently recruiting a Material Manager in Fredericton, NB. In this role, you will be responsible to assist Construction Managers on telecommunications builds with inspections and schedule tracking, as well as receiving materials to the warehouse and arranging shipments to construction sites. To excel in this role, you must have some experience within logistics roles and exposure to construction environments. You possess strong communications skills, ability to perform well under pressure, ability to multitask, and a high attention to detail.

**Skills / Qualifications**:

- 1-3 years of experience combined between construction and logistics
- Experience with material ordering, tracking, and escalation processes for warehouse, construction, or telecom environments preferred
- Proficiency with MS-Office, especially MS Excel; and the ability to learn new systems and software programs
- Self-starter with high attention to detail
- Customer Service focused
- Completion of relevant post-secondary education an asset
- Team player orientation
- Experience in telecommunications environments an asset
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Proactive problem solver with strong listening skills
- Experience driving a forklift an asset
- Valid driver’s license
