**Job Brief**

**Responsibilities**
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
- Preparing procurement reports.
- Design materials consolidation (“kitting”) and logistics to supply Pluspuu projects across Canada.
- Optimize shipping and delivery services based on very strict project timelines.
- Other tasks as required.
- Minimum five years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement/sourcing roles.
- Experience using supply chain management software and tools (will be expected to lead software evaluation and selection for Pluspuu Homes).
- In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
- Strong management skills driven by measurable performance goals and objectives.
- Multi-tasking, highly organized and massively detail oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
- Invent negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals
- Optimize sourcing procedures and supply chain options to attain maximum efficiency
- Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes
- Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries

The Manager, Procurement and Logistics role can be full-time or part-time and either based out of our new Fredericton office or remote (10% travel required for remote). **Salary**: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
