**SUMMARY**

The **Project Coordinator **is accountable for the delivery of projects and their related sub-components.

Contract date: May-August 2023

Work arrangement: Hybrid, remote and on-site visits at the Markham office and work sites in the GTA

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

**For the assigned projects and project sub-components**:

- Supports the delivery of projects through effective coordination and delivery of assigned subcomponents within overall projects.
- Handle project administration, including cost control, schedule control and change order administration
- Help develops schedules and monitors progress against timelines.
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with vendors. Monitors work progress to ensure completion.
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
- Liaise with Construction Manager to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives
- Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
- Help prepare budgets
- Analyze risks and opportunities
- Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement)
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests

**Client Relationship Management**
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with clients. ( Internal )
- Accountable for resolving issues, managing client expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Escalates issues as needed

**Project Administration**
- Perform project administration duties.
- Inputs project information into databases and completes project set up process
- Maintains project documentations such as project plans, meeting minutes, contracts, bid packages, technical and financial close outs, etc.
- Administers project close out requirements.
- Gathers and ensures receipt and sign-off of all project documentations. Files project documentations.

**MINIMUM EDUCATION**:Working towards Community college diploma or equivalent training (e.g. RPA, CET)

**Knowledge & Skills**
- Administrative, coordination and organizational skills - administrative and organizational skills along with related administrative and coordination work experience
- Project coordination - project coordination abilities along with proven experience in coordinating the end-to-end delivery of projects and their related sub-components.
- Non-technical project delivery - proven ability to deliver non-technical projects
- Vendor coordination - proven ability and experience in coordinating vendor work and ensuring work completion
- Communication -effective communication and influencing skills
