**Position**: Part-Time Medical Office Administration/Allergy Assistant

**Job Overview**:
**Duties**:

- Greeting and welcoming Patients.
- Check in Patients, verify patient's demographics upon arrival.
- Answering, screening and forwarding incoming calls as necessary.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily incoming faxed, mail and deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and protocols.

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a MOA and Allergy assistant or similar role
- **Must have** proficiency in Microsoft and **Med-Access EMR**:

- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers)
- Professional Attitude, Respect, appearance, Friendly and warm Demeanor.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills and tidiness.
- Inherent Multitasking ability and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
- Booking and confirming patient appointments.

**Skills**:

- Medical and specialist office experience is **MUST**:

- Strong attention to detail & proof reading abilities
- Excellent phone etiquette/multi-lines
- Proficient in data entry
- Familiarity with phone systems
- Ability to file & Scan documents systematically
- Comfortable with computerized systems
- Basic administrative skills and a great Team Player

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
