**Reporting to the Manager of Communications and Fund Development, the incumbent will be responsible for the following functions**:

- Scheduling, organizing and implementing seminars, educational series, presentations, workshops and special events for target populations to include school, workplace and the community at large.
- Promoting community awareness of agency programs and services through presentations.
- Provide media submissions and/or interviews, as directed and approved by the Program Manager
- Organize, lead, and participate in fundraising and public awareness through various campaigns.
- Improve the use of social media in public awareness activities.
- Assist in cultivating the involvement of donors in the activities of the Agency

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree in Health Promotion and/or Communications with experience in the non-profit sector.
- Experience and demonstrated knowledge of mental illness.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle are required.
- Proficiency in both official languages will be considered an asset.

**Hours of Work**: 28 hours per week. Flexible hours including days, evening and weekends are required to meet the position requirements.

**Salary**: Commensurate with experience within the range: $29.10 - $35.41 per hour, inclusive of HOOP.

**Job Type**: Part-time
