The successful applicant will also possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and will have strong attention to detail and accuracy.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Office Administration, required
- Health care based privacy certification, preferred

**Skill, Ability and Experience**:

- Demonstrated skills in day-to-day problem solving required
- Two years of hospital related work with Health Information experience required
- Experience in challenging conversations and strong interpersonal skills required
- Strong leadership, and communication required
- Experience using related information systems tools (Hospital Information Systems, Microsoft Office Suite), with proficiency in Excel and Outlook required

**Principal Duties**:

- Support the practices of the Privacy Office, including but not limited to auditing, maintaining proper documentation of investigations and resolutions, completion of annual reporting requirements
- Conduct routine and random audits of BWH’s Health Information system and analyze findings
- Support the Chief Privacy Officer in IPC reporting of incidents and in liaising with internal and external partners regarding privacy requirements or questions
- Provide support for management of users in systems, maintaining databases of users in systems
- Assist in the development and updating of policies related to privacy and security and relevant education resources
- Maintain calendar of portfolio deliverables and act as support to portfolio leadership
- Day to day portfolio operational duties, including receiving telephone calls, mail, maintaining and organizing portfolio files
- Other related duties as assigned
