- Rotation/ShiftsDays, 8 hour shifts - off hours coverage may be required on occasion.
- Basic Requirements- Post secondary education in occupational health and safety OR CRSP designation;
- Minimum of five years experience in Occupational Health and Safety field;
- Experience working with other Government agencies i.e. Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD), Ministry of Health, etc;
- Experience with developing policies and procedures;
- Knowledge of adult education;
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Management Systems;
- Ability to conduct investigations, risk assessments, occupational/industrial hygiene and air quality monitoring;
- Ability to develop training programs and provide education;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills;
- Excellent presentation skills;
- Eligible to work in Canada.
