As a Louis Vuitton **Human Resources Director**, you will be an ambassador of the Brand. This vital role will partner with the local Corporate and Retail Management leadership teams in accomplishing strategic & commercial objectives through the optimization of workforce & HR planning. While ensuring business decisions focus on recruiting, retaining, and developing top-caliber talent for the business, you will further promote our brand as an employer of choice across the Canadian marketplace.

With an agile approach, the Human Resources Director will provide both strategic and hands-on support and guidance to the business ensuring that our teams are fully aware and trained on their HR legal obligations & responsibilities. This role will also lead initiatives & activities relating to employee reviews, head count, staff costs, as well as other projects deployed by the Brand.

PROFIL

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Coach and educate managers on conflict resolution, performance management, coaching teams, effective communication & team work.
- Partner with management and teams to enhance work relationships, drive engagement and increase productivity and retention
- Direct management of Employee Relations and Compensation/Benefits
- Ensure compliance with local employment/labor laws, compliance with LV policies & procedures and their communication to the employees
- Manage and administer the Performance Career Review (PCR) campaign (annual performance appraisal and merit review) and ensure the teams are fully trained & coached on how to maximize the effectiveness of the tool and leverage it as an opportunity to further support, develop and drive their team’s performances.
- Manage and administer the Organizational Management Review (OMR) to ensure the identification, development, succession and retention of talent in the organization.
- Establish and maintain guidelines & communication for the team’s individual development plans.
- Work closely with the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition and Sr. Director of Talent Development, SVP of HR, and other core business partners to maximize succession planning, talent pipelining and early career strategies.
