**About the Position**:
Working independently, the Outside Sales Representative position requires individuals who like to work in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment. The role is best suited for a confident self-starter; someone who likes to think outside the box and thrives on success. We reward those who work hard and show a willingness to learn. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and driven individual to join our team. The ideal applicant possesses a passion for sales and relationship building.
**Responsibilities**:
Maintain customer relationships with existing accounts
Develop and nurture new customers
Meet agreed targets and goals
Promote the company’s presence throughout the assigned geographical territory
Provide outstanding customer service while managing day to day relationships with current and future customers
Local travel within Ontario
Possible extended travel within Canada and the United States
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
Previous sales experience in the wholesale hardwood lumber industry
A passionate interest in sales and customer service
Hard working, team player with an entrepreneurial spirit
Ability to work in a fast-paced team-driven environment
Strong communication skills
Working knowledge of French an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Access
