MyoHealth Rehab and Wellness Centre has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional to join our rapidly growing team. We are a private clinic that specializes in complex medical cases offering a multi-disciplinary approach to healthcare for our patients. We have two locations in the GTA (Scarborough and Etobicoke); **this role is a hybrid/remote role.**

In this fulltime position, you will enter, post and reconcile patient accounts, investigate and resolve customer A/R issues, place billing and collection calls, prepare aging report, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L.

**Your responsibilities**
- Maintain and update customer files to ensure data integrity
- Act as liaison in maintaining quality service and a positive clinic image by resolving customer account inquiries
- Attend to inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence
- Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers
- Process payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports
- Contact outstanding accounts to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans
- Perform general accounting tasks
- Locate and present account information, as requested to support the collection of outstanding payments.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Post-secondary education in accounting, business or equivalent.
- 2+ years of relevant experience with comprehensive knowledge of collection and accounts receivable processes; experience in healthcare, private clinic or insurance an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software, QuickBooks and MS Office with emphasis on Excel (Pivot table, VLOOKUPs, and other formulas) and reports.
- Strong verbal and written skills with an emphasis on customer service and maintaining a positive client relationship.
- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard accounting and office procedures, time management and organizational skills working in a electronic environment.
