As a certified B Corporation, we make convenient eating healthy and sustainable for the communities we operate in. We source quality local ingredients whenever possible, and deliver in reusable, recyclable and compostable packaging. We offer 10 chef-created meal kit recipes each week, with options for many lifestyles and preferences including vegetarian and vegan.

In the past few years, we have collected many awards and recognition for our continued pursuit in being a leader in both customer and employee satisfaction. - Strategic HR Partnership:- Collaborate with department heads and managers to understand their business needs and develop HR strategies that support business goals-
- Provide guidance on workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning-
- Employee Relations:- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on all employee relations matters-
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts through effective, professional mediation-
- Promote a positive workplace culture and improve employee engagement though engagement initiatives-
- Prepares documentation, and executes employee termination conversations-
- Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:- Partner with the P&C team to attract and hire top talent-
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated effectively and receive necessary training-
- Build job postings and job descriptions-
- Performance Management:- Implement and manage performance management programs-
- Support managers in conducting performance reviews and developing employee growth plans-
- Provide coaching and feedback to employees and managers to enhance performance and development-
- Learning and Development:- Identify training needs and facilitate learning opportunities for employees-
- Develop and implement training programs that enhance employee skills and career development-
- Compensation and Benefits:- Collaborate with the P&C team to manage compensation and benefits programs-
- Ensure that compensation practices are competitive and align with company policies-
- Compliance and Policy Management:- Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal employment laws and regulations-
- Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures-
- Train Fresh Prep leadership on company policies and procedures-
- Conduct regular audits to ensure HR processes are compliant and efficient-
- HR Metrics and Reporting:- Analyze HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior management-
- Prepare and present regular reports on HR activities and outcomes-
- Cultural Development:- Champion the company’s values and culture initiatives-
- Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to create a welcoming and inclusive workplace-
- Day to day P&C functions:- Can troubleshoot system errors (vacation, start date, etc) without assistance-
- Handles all incoming employee requests, questions, inquiries (in person, people inbox, gchat etc.)-
- Understands the extended health implications to payroll and can troubleshoot billing issues with payroll-
- Manages occupational health and safety cases, and return to work case management-
- Other in-scope duties as assigned**What We Are Looking For**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field-
- 5+ years of experience in HR, preferably within the food and beverage manufacturing industry-
- Proven experience as an HR business partner or similar role-
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws-
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills-
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence others-
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills-
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment-
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software**What You Can Expect**- $80,000 - $90,000 per annum-
