**Quality Coordinator**

Nordic Minesteel Technologies (NMT) is seeking a motivated **Quality Coordinator **to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for an ambitious position within a challenging and fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Support the development, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System as per the requirements of ISO9001.
- Investigate, lead Root Cause Analysis, determine and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Coordinate corrections and corrective action activities with the Quality Team and departmental leads.
- Track KPIs and quality objectives.
- Assist in the development and review of procedures and work instructions.
- Prepare for and play a lead role in internal and external audits.
- Provide support to manufacturing with acceptability decisions.
- Ensure the maintenance of records and adherence to quality standards.
- Participate in the evaluation and approval of suppliers.

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years in a Quality related role or post-secondary education in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of ISO9001:2015 quality standard, quality assurance terminology and procedures.
- Internal Auditor Certification a strong asset.
- Knowledge of root cause, corrective actions and risk analysis.
- Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings and standards.
- Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and multiple demands working effectively in both a team environment and independently.
- Valid Ontario Driver's license (travel between sites).

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
