**Purpose of Job**:
- The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for assisting the business in providing a wide range of Human Resources & Health and Safety support to all levels of the organization. Responsibilities will be involving administrative activities supporting the HR Team.
**Principal Accountabilities**:
- Assist in filing and organization of employee documents
- Monitor policy acknowledgements and assist in putting in place controls for policy management
- Assist with new hire training and documentation
- Update communication around the plant and the HR and Health and Safety boards to ensure relevant information is available to all employees
- Verify company practices against industry best practices
- Assist with recruiting pre-screening
- Assist in policy research and writing to ensure all legislative requirements are met
- Payroll back up
- Employee relations assistance, assist with employee concerns and questions
- Schedule and assist with social activities and events
- Maintain confidentiality
- Assist with health and safety initiatives and documentation
- HR administrative tasks
- Other duties as assigned
**Health and Safety Responsibilities**:
- Wear all required PPE on Hydra Dyne premises
- Work safe & ergonomically by following H&S policies
- Enforce and promote workplace safety
- Report any unsafe acts, conditions or accidents witnessed across the plant
**Knowledge, Skills and Education**:
- Studying Human Resources Management, or co-related areas considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships and trust
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrates high integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Self-starter, result driven
- Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft office products
