IT proudly provides the computer systems, security, IT services and governance that support AGLC’s businesses, including the operation & support of mission critical gaming, liquor and corporate systems running on a variety of computing platforms. IT ensures the stability and performance of a Local/Wide Area Network, which supports over 1,200 gaming locations and more than 2,000 computers/tablets, 150 physical and 2,000 virtual servers distributed across six corporate offices, casinos, RECs and bingo halls. IT provides leadership in the use of information technology, data and systems to help the AGLC achieve business goals and objectives.

The focus of the Network Infrastructure team is to create new network designs to facilitate implementation of AGLC’s projects and initiatives and to support current production systems.

As the Team Lead, Network Infrastructure your primary responsibilities will be to supervise the Network Infrastructure team as well as being a major contributor to the design/implementation/support of the AGLC’s Corporate and Gaming network infrastructure.

Additional duties include vendor and service provider management, infrastructure planning and design, and project planning; as well as providing recommendations for the acquisition of network hardware and software which includes an active role in network-related RFPs. The incumbent will also be assisting in budgetary and workforce forecasting.

Sound technical knowledge, experience and leadership are critical in this position, as the Network Deployment team is responsible for designing critical data communication services across the AGLC, the designs must be robust as disruption to these services can negatively affect all AGLC revenue generating systems and business units.

In order to maintain a constantly evolving network architecture, knowledge of current and emerging technologies is critical, as well as being able to demonstrate informed decision-making capabilities, strong leadership skills, strong network architecture/design skills, strong interpersonal skills and strong written/verbal skills.

**SKILLS/ABILITIES**
- Minimum of a Degree in computer science or related technology focused discipline and 4 years of experience, including 2 years leading projects and/or supervising others.
- CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Data Center or equivalent is an important asset for this role.

The following will be considered assets:

- Demonstrated ability to configure and manage Cisco switches/routers and hardware.
- CCDP, or equivalent professional level certification(s).
- Experience in network architecture/design and operational support documentations.
- Experience managing a high-performing team.
