As a key member of the Production team, you will maintain high manufacturing efficiencies while delivering a quality product in a safe and clean environment.

**Shifts Available**:
Afternoon Shift 3:00pm - 11:15pm

**As a Production Team Lead, you will**:

- Ensure proper staffing for shift production
- Provide training for all new employees and temporary staff
- Attend to employee issues regarding employee relations, attitude and teamwork
- Ensure that all employees are working safely
- Ensure good housekeeping practices daily
- Works closely with:

- Scheduling - changes in job priorities
- Line Service - flow of materials
- Receiving & QA/QC - material requirements
- Complete the first quality control check at the start of production
- Validate line speeds throughout shift to ensure rated run rate is being met. If it is below target the Team Leaders initiate corrective(s).
- Ensure all samples required are submitted
- Ensure that the right quantity for the job is produced unless special instruction are given
- Ensure that lines are running efficiently - Line speeds to be checked at start of shift to ensure maximum speed
- Check paperwork on the lines to ensure accuracy
- Prepare shift reports - communicate to the next shift on daily runs, procedures or problems on line
- Achieve operational objectives
- Help determine production priorities
- Resolve production problems
- Ensure that all staff adhere to company policies and procedures

**Qualifications**:

- Secondary Highschool education
- 2+ years in a high-paced manufacturing environment
- Organization, planning and leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs
