**Job Title**: SMT Team Leader (Afternoon Shift)

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of technicians in the efficient operation of the SMT production line during the afternoon shift.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills to perform their job functions effectively.
- Monitor and manage team performance, productivity, and quality to meet production goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available to meet production needs.
- Manage the daily scheduling of personnel to ensure that staffing levels are appropriate for production needs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings and work with management to implement changes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in a technical field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in SMT production or a related field.
- Previous experience in a leadership role is required.
- Strong knowledge of SMT processes and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Flexibility to work afternoon shift hours.
- Fire Safety/First Aid courses - this position will be Fire Marshal and required to conduct CPR/First Aid.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
