We are looking for an **ambitious Regional Director** who will build and lead the existing team of CFOs and book of business in **Montreal. **This is a remote based role, but you must be within the region.

The CFO Centre is the leading provider of Part-Time Chief Financial Officers. Part-time CFOs are for those businesses that don’t want, don’t need, and probably can’t afford a full-time chief financial officer, but need this skill set on a regular basis, or for situations as they arise. The part-time CFO with big company experience can provide analysis, advice, and positive intervention to small & medium sized enterprises at a fraction of the cost of an in-house CFO.

You will be responsible for leading and building a team of talented Chief Financial Officers who are passionate about helping ambitious $2 - $100M private businesses climb their Everest. With the mindset of a CEO, you’ll thrive on the challenge and autonomy of growing a high-performing region while loving being part of a larger team across the Canada and the World.

Of course, you come with a strong understanding of commercial finance, business strategy, and a track record of success, although your “special sauce” is your natural ability to build genuine long-lasting relationships with your clients - part advisor, part strategist, part friend.

You’ll work closely with the CEO and the Team of Regional Directors across the country.

You’ll be a local, or at least an adopted local in the region, with a great network and a ‘black book’ of outstanding individuals and businesses in the region, who’s interested in this opportunity for the right reasons.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Has previously built a sustainable team/division;
- Commercial background with a successful track record in developing new business;
- Ability to ‘connect’ with and influence SME business owners;
- Proven experience in business development, operations management, and project management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement initiatives
- A team player who thrives on building, leading and motivating a high performing team;
- A strong ‘people person’ with a natural ability and enjoyment of building relationships;
- Able to develop a strong alignment to the Company’s Purpose and Culture
- Energetic, motivated, determined, able to makes things happen;
- Excellent presentation and strong communication skills;
- Organized and dependable;
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Empathy with and understanding of the role of the Chief Financial Officer
- MBA, CPA or operational experience at CEO or COO level
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (MBA preferred)
- CFO experience preferred but not necessary;
