ROLE SUMMARY
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assortment Planning
- Develop and manage the product assortment plan in alignment with the company’s merchandising strategy.
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and sales data by country to identify opportunities for product selection and enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mainly with Product Development and Planning to align product assortments with overall brand and category strategies.

Buying
- Determine optimal buying quantities based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and budget considerations.
- Work closely with Production team to determine delivery schedules.
- Monitor styles inventory levels and adjust orders as needed to maintain desired stock levels and minimize excess inventory.

Delivery and Collaboration
- Coordinate with the Planning Director to establish and manage delivery patterns that align with sales cycles and promotional activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to meet market demand and customer expectations.

Pricing and Cost Management
- Develop and maintain the price ladder, ensuring competitive pricing that aligns with market trends and company goals.
- Collaborate with the finance and planning teams to target development costs and maintain profitability margins.
- Implement price adjustments as needed and communicate pricing strategies to the sales team and other relevant stakeholders.

Communication and Strategy
- Serve as the key point of contact for merchandising strategies, providing insights and recommendations to the sales team.
- Communicate pricing strategies and product assortment plans to ensure alignment with sales objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing feedback and adjustments to the strategy as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or a related role within the retail
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in merchandising software and tools.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
