Vehicle Inventory Manager

**Position Title: Used Vehicle Inventory Manager**
**Location: Scarborough**
**Reports To: General Managers**

**Responsibilities**:
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee the acquisition, storage, and distribution of used vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, including conditions, pricing, and availability.
- Ensure all vehicles are properly prepared for display and sale.
- Acquisition and Procurement:
- Source used vehicles through auctions, trade-ins, and other channels.
- Negotiate purchase prices and terms with suppliers and sellers.
- Conduct market research to determine fair pricing and inventory needs.
- Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure inventory meets customer demand.
- Provide detailed information about vehicles to the sales team.
- Assist in setting competitive pricing strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect and appraise incoming vehicles for quality, condition, and value.
- Coordinate necessary repairs, maintenance, and reconditioning of vehicles.
- Ensure vehicles meet company and regulatory standards before sale.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze inventory turnover rates, sales performance, and market trends.
- Generate regular reports on inventory status, sales forecasts, and profit margins.
- Utilize inventory management software to track and manage data.
- Customer Service:
- Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding used vehicle inventory.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing accurate and timely information.
- Assist in resolving any issues related to vehicle purchases or inventory.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all documentation related to vehicle titles, registrations, and sales is accurate and up to date.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in vehicle inventory management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and used vehicle market.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or a related field.
Work Environment:
- Office and dealership environment.
- Travel between shops to prepare vehicles
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move items.
- Ability to
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Schedule:
10AM - 6PM, Monday - Friday ,
10AM - 2PM, Saturday
44 hours
