As an** Underwriting Specialist, Group Benefits**reporting to the Director of Benefits Consulting, you will provide analytical excellence to our group benefits clients.

**What you will do**:

- Managing group renewals: assessing, negotiating, writing reports, and preparing presentations
- Analyze premium and claims information and provide valuable insights from the data
- Conducting marketing and quote comparisons: assessing, negotiating, writing reports, and preparing presentations
- Conducting commission reconciliations and analysis
- Pricing and analyzing costings
- Providing project management support as required

**What you will bring**:

- 1 year of experience in a similar role or a recent graduate in a math-related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and effectively communicate insights through compelling narratives
- Problem-solving abilities
- Strong client service attitude and relationship-building skills
- Excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and multitask effectively with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
