**The Position**

We are seeking an **Analyst **to join our Asset Management Team located in Toronto. Reporting to the Vice President, Data Analytics & Modeling, you will work as a member of a collaborative and performance-driven team and take broad responsibility for the development and implementation of the analytical obligations and abilities of the business. The role is expected to be dynamic, with the opportunity to grow into additional responsibilities while working within an entrepreneurial environment. **What You Will Do**
- Monitor financial and operational performance of existing investments; assist in performing on-going valuation analysis.
- Build and maintain complex cash flow valuation models, with flexibility to run various scenarios, test assumptions and perform sensitivity analysis.
- Develop portfolio-level tools and capabilities to analyze and forecast characteristics and correlations of the existing portfolio.
- Assist and lead in the financial structuring of existing assets through refinancings and the ongoing capital requirements of the underlying businesses.
- Collaborate with an experienced team of professionals to manage project deliverables.
- Communicate complex ideas and analyses to advisory, management, and investment committees.

**What You Bring**
- Education and Experience: You have an undergraduate degree with a focus on finance, accounting, engineering or the sciences.
- You have 1-3 years of related or transferable work experience, ideally within the investment management or financial services industry. Experience in infrastructure, financial advisory and/or data analytics is considered an asset.
- Technical Skills: You have solid technical skills and experience with developing, maintaining, and analyzing financial models. Programming (VBA, M, DAX, python) and BI software experience may be an asset.
- Collaborative Communication & Teamwork: You have excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to present well-articulated ideas. You are a team player with a positive attitude and are able to build relationships and interact with professionals at a variety of levels, internally and externally.
- Analytical & Strategic Mindset: You have a drive for efficiency along with the desire to organize, automate and problem solve. You are accountable, proactive, curious, a continuous learner, and have the ability to work autonomously in a constantly changing environment. You possess an analytical mind with demonstrated quantitative skills.
- Self-Starter: You are a motivated self-starter with a high level of attention to detail and proactive approach to work. You have good judgement coupled with the ability to set clear expectations and make sound decisions.
- Time Management: You are able to manage and prioritize multiple ongoing projects and daily responsibilities. You have the ability to work efficiently under pressure, both individually and as part of a team. You effectively deal with changes and interruptions while maintaining deadlines.
