**Inside Sales Representative**

The Inside Sales position will play a pivotal role in the growth of our company by enhancing our relationships with existing and while identifying new business opportunities. You will leverage your education by learning all aspects of our business during our proven onboarding program.

We are looking for a “down-to-earth,” service-focused, hands-on individual, who will be continuously looking for ways to ensure that our growth is sustainable, profitable, and efficient. Your attention to detail combined with sales skills will be imperative for profitable revenue growth. You will be a key person within our sales organization who will work closely with management and our outside sales team.

Transit Petroleum Inc., along with Transit Lubricants Ltd., are independently owned and operated distribution companies headquartered in Kitchener, Ontario. Our collective companies have been active members of many communities in Ontario for over 145 years. Through our fleet of trucks and network of commercial fuel cardlock locations, Transit Petroleum is an industry leader providing businesses with gasoline, heating oil, diesel fuel, diesel exhaust fluid and related unique specialty services. Transit Lubricants is a large Chevron lubricant marketer in Central & Southwestern Ontario. Through Chevron, we offer the highest quality brand name products, supported by one of the largest petroleum companies in the world. Our quality products lead to increased uptime, improved operational efficiency and optimized equipment life cycle. And for the “Premium Value” buyer, we also offer a market-leading private label brand of products that meet or exceed OEM specifications.

**Primary Responsibilities and Duties**
- Presents and sells company products and services to current and potential customers.
- Meet customers' evolving needs with stellar customer service and customized solutions.
- Focus of finding ways every day to enhance the customer experience.
- Hunt for new business through researching markets, requesting referrals, following up on provided leads and making outbound prospecting phone calls.
- Respond to incoming customer inquiries, develop accounts, and generate quotes.
- Understand your contacts’ needs in order to recommend specific products and value-added services that will results in overachieving sales targets.
- Identifies key decision makers and influencers associated with the opportunity.
- Assist outside sales and/or management in processing priority transactions.
- Utilizing Customer Relationship Management software (CRM) tool to keep Mgmt informed.
- Works closely with Manager to determine the necessary strategic sales approach.
- Assists customers in completing necessary forms and paperwork for activating and maintaining customer accounts.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Minimum of College Diploma, Bachelor Degree Preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years prior inside sales experience preferred or any combination of two or more years in outbound customer service and inside sales.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office®, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel®, Microsoft Word® and Microsoft PowerPoint®.
- Ability to learn our client-based CRM system.
- Knowledge of oil and gas industry is an asset qualification.
- Must have the ability to drive with a full G license in Ontario
