_**The Position**_

The incumbent is responsible for helping to ensure properties assigned to him/her are maintained in good condition and that the Company’s tenants are provided excellent customer service in addition to being a relief building manager as required. A typical day in this role may include some of the following:

- To maintain a professional appearance.
- Treat Residents with courtesy and respect and communicate any problems or concerns to the Building Manager and Property Manager.
- Do regular walk throughs of the buildings including doors, back entrances, building fronts, storage, and amenity space to ensure building is neat, tidy, and safe.
- Report to building manager in writing last day worked.
- Noting all calls and inquiries.
- Reporting any repairs or building issues.
- Including all incident reports filed with police file number, if applicable.
- Be available for emergency call outs after hours (must attend physically to property where necessary.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned, from week to week.
- Executing all instructions/requests provided by Property Manager with respect to all buildings within area of responsibility.
- Prepare/turn over vacant apartments for occupancy if required.
- Provide after-hours emergency service as required.
- Act as Relief Building Manager from 4:30pm Fridays through to 8:30am Mondays and to provide coverage for statutory holidays/vacation.

Great communication skills (both oral and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and results oriented.
- Good organizational skills and able to prioritize.
- Team player, able to work independently and take direction from others.
- Strong working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act.
- **Qualifications & Experience**_
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in building management.
- Own a vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Physically able to carry out all necessary duties, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50lbs.
- Criminal record check is required.
