The Provincial System Support Program (PSSP) at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) works with communities, service providers, government, and system partners, including Ontario Health's Mental Health and Addictions Centre of Excellence (CoE) to move evidence to action and create sustainable change in Ontario’s mental health and addictions system. With expertise in implementation, knowledge mobilization, evaluation, equity, lived experience engagement, and data management, PSSP is on the ground across the province, collaborating with a wide variety of health and social care partners to build a stronger, more equitable and more accessible mental health and substance use care system.

**Position Description**

The Manager, Program Design and Implementation will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable standards and requirements. This position can be located anywhere in Ontario.
- Responsibilities_
- Accountable for embedding sustainable and achievable equity-focused, anti-racist and anti-oppressive approaches to support the advancement of health equity through intentional program design, and the use of relevant implementation frameworks, strategies and practices.
- Accountable for developing and fostering relationships with service users, people with lived/living experience, families/caregivers, communities, and service delivery partners that support meaningful engagement, consultation, and collaboration in program design and implementation initiatives.
- Lead closely and collaboratively with other managers in the portfolio on implementation strategy and practice for a broad range of provincial, regional and local initiatives that advance equity and meaningfully engage people with lived experience
- Form and facilitate governance structures and working groups with various project stakeholders, communities, and other partners to support the development and implementation of program design and implementation strategies and projects that are grounded in implementation science and equity-focused and anti-racist/anti-oppressive theories and practices.
- Lead the development of needs assessments, stakeholder mapping, gap analyses, and project planning in alignment with the broader direction of the portfolio and in consultation with PSSP senior leadership.
- Accountable for the development of project and implementation plans, operational processes, and practice tools intentionally designed to support the advancement of project goals and health equity in program design and implementation practice.
- Lead the formation of program design and implementation teams, scoping roles and responsibilities of staff
- Accountable for the development of high-quality reports, briefing documents, and presentations that communicate implementation findings and/or progress on implementation projects in accessible and engaging ways
- Work collaboratively with the Operations Team to oversee budget development, planning, monitoring and reporting on key partner agreements, commitments, and work plans.
- Oversee coordinated activities to inform, involve, consult, collaborate and partner with service users, people with lived/living experience, families/caregivers, communities, and other partners
- Accountable for building and cultivating meaningful relationships and trust with project partners and stakeholders
- Strong orientation towards internal collaboration and working in highly integrated ways across functional teams in a matrix management setting
- Accountable for clear and transparent communication with all project and system partners, funders and team members

**Qualifications**
- 3-years managerial experience with preference given to experience supervising team members undertaking program design & implementation-focused work.
- 5-years demonstrated experience working to support the implementation of complex interventions across a mental health, healthcare, academic, community-based or policy context
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships with government, community agencies and system partners.
- An ability to collaborate and be effective at building strong internal/external relationships, networks and partnerships, while managing stakeholder expectations and risks
- Comprehensive knowledge of Implementation Science and implementation practice frameworks and conceptual models, as well as project management principles and methodologies.
- Demonstrated capacities in systems thinking and design, and human-centred design.
- An ability to think strategically, and link scale and spread of initiatives to measurable outcomes.
