The **Marketing Manager - The Home Depot Canada** is focused on the development and execution of brand and product strategies for the brand portfolio across the Home Depot Canada. You are a well-rounded retail and/or business to business, business to consumer marketing professional with experience in brand and channel management, strong communication skills, collaboration and influence, and promotional development. You should have direct experience with innovation pipeline development, consumer validation and launch execution.

You will be the single point of contact across the marketing team to drive key initiatives and strategies across the Home Depot channel. You will report to the Marketing Director.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Strategic Leadership: Create engaging team environment, setting clear goals and prioritizing projects, and providing strategic guidance.
- Strategic Planning: Development of actionable annual and ongoing brand and product strategies based on consumer insights, category trends, competitive environment, and business needs.
- Brand Management: Development of the relevant brand equity framework, and develop creative and supporting materials that follow the brand equity and support the brand portfolio.
- Budgeting: Maximization of budgets by using ROI tools as a measurement of effectiveness and manage the yearly budget to include ongoing tracking of spend future commitments and budget availability.
- Integrated Insights: Understand category, channel and customer insights to identify how PPG can contribute to customers and consumers across all distribution channels and drive profitable growth of the brand.
- Execution: Work cross functionally through all levels of the organization to execute top and bottom-line strategic initiatives. Collaboration across the marketing and account team will be critical.
- Promotional Development: Development of branded business driving promotions to close consumers at point of purchase.
- Project Management: Management of the development, production and implementation of marketing communications tactics. Need to manage through multiple priorities and ensure alignment across the account team, marketing and portfolio teams.
- Agency Management (Advertising, Packaging, Media, Social and PR): Management of strategic and daily agency interactions to ensure communications efforts are aligned with brand strategy and positioning.
- Communication: Working, influencing, promoting alignment, and enrolling the PPG management team, Channel Marketing, Sales and account teams, and other cross functional teams to ensure delivery/execution of channel marketing plans.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Management or another related field required.
- 5+ years marketing experience. Sales and /or Home Depot (retail) experience is a plus. An advanced marketing degree or MBA a plus.
