Technology Specialist

**Job description**:We are looking for assistive technology specialists with at least 3 years of experience training individuals with disabilities in the realm of digital literacy. Work will be primarily remote but optionally can involve onsite work across Washington state. This work includes the following tasks:
- _Conduct training that increases awareness, skills, and competencies in using appropriate assistive technology so that the user may be proficient in its use._
- _Provide digital literacy skills training that connects eligible individuals to online employment, education, and social opportunities._
- _Offer ongoing support and training for distributed assistive technology._
- _Create informational training on ADA basics, assistive technology, and best practices for assisting individuals with disabilities for community partners._
**Minimum Qualifications**:
Must have at least 3 years providing assistive technology training. There is a preference for those who have experience working with Native Americans/First Nations Peoples who have disabilities.
Preference for one or more of the following certifications:
- RESNA
- ATP
- RET
- ATS
- RTB
- NCRTB
- AVCREP
- CATIS
Pay: $100.00-$125.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.25 per week
