**What you will do**

Our
**Toronto**
**office **is seeking
**college students **to join the team as a
**co-op student in Fall 2023 **as a part of our
**Global Mobility Services (GMS) **group under our
**Tax **practice.
**Students should not be in school during this time.**

**Our Canadian Tax Team**:
Canadian companies operating in multiple jurisdictions must deal with numerous government authorities and frequent changes to tax laws and regulations. Canadian Corporate Tax professionals assist businesses in understanding how to effectively respond to these changes. You will:

- Prepare working paper files and income tax returns for cross-border individuals
- Work on a variety of Canadian and US personal tax related issues
- Follow-up with various tax authorities on tax notices or audits
- Prepare payroll reconciliations and provide support to team members on related tasks

**What you bring to the role
- Currently attending a college accounting or finance co-op program
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills with a strong proficiency in MS Excel
- Knowledge of relevant accounting frameworks
- Highly motivated and a strong team player
- Excellent multi-tasker and work effectively towards tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in preparing tax returns and using Tax Prep would be beneficial
