**Job Summary**
Our Delta, BC location of Zodiac Hurricane Technologies has an immediate opening for Accounts Payable Administrator (Contract) in our office.
This position is a three (3) months contract working full-time Monday through Friday with a possibility of extension. The role will assist with creating a new user manual for the newly implemented P2P system, "Yooz." In addition, the Accounts Payable Administrator will assist the Finance Department with processing a backlog of AP processing due to the recent implementation.
Individuals require an attention to detail and a willingness to work hard in a fast-paced team environment while under pressure to meet deadlines.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Create and maintain documentation and reports as assigned including process documentation and manuals
- Complete daily accounts payable and other tasks while meeting deadlines
- Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve discrepancies and incomplete documentation
- Answer inquiries and resolve issues where applicable
- Process vendor and supplier payments and prepare bank transfers
- Reconcile invoices with POs, packing slips, statements and intercompany payments
- Reconcile credit card statements monthly and month end intercompany transfers
- Make recommendations for process improvements to attain efficiencies
- Any other tasks or projects as assigned
**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Minimum of 2 years' accounts payable experience
- Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English with exceptional customer relations skills
- Intermediate computer skills that include use of Excel experience with ERP systems and automated payables system is preferred
- Ability to multi-task, be well-organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate with a team and different stakeholders while operating in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Ability to solve problems and set priorities while working effectively and independently
- Exceptional customer service skills communicating with a professional and respectful manner with both internally and externally
- Full cycle accounting knowledge is an asset
- Desire and ability to learn new things
