The roles of our Golf Services Supervisors (GSS) are golf operations focused and are slightly removed from the traditional pro shop position. With our bust caddie program of over 250 caddies and strong occupancy on all three golf courses, our GSS team members are very much engaged directly with serving our guests, the caddie program, and leading the golf operations team._

Position Overview
- The Golf Operations Attendant will play a key role in ensuring the success of a variety of areas within the golf operation. Working closely alongside the Head Golf Professional, The Assistant Golf Pro/Golf Services Supervisor (AGP-GSS) is expected to maintain and exceed the world-class service standards at Cabot Cape Breton while assisting resort guests during their entire golf experience.

- Preferred qualifications and skills:

- High school diploma
- Certified and current PGA of Canada Member or equivalent PGA Nationally recognized association, or working towards such a designation.
- Teaching Certification
- Positive attitude and excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple duties under pressure
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Ability to work flexible hours - weekends and evenings as required
- Highly responsible & reliable

Requirements of the role you should be aware of:

- Based on the nature of our business and the service we provide to our guests, to work with us, you must consent to a criminal background check as a condition of employment and an additional criminal background check every two years.
- As a seasonal resort business, you can anticipate a schedule that will involve day, evening, night, and weekend work.
- Long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing, and crouching while performing other duties is to be expected.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and otherwise moving luggage, golf clubs, and objects up to 50 lbs in weight

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $1450 - $1600 paid bi-weekly, commensurate with experience
